Multi-Agency Case Audits (MACAs) provide a valuable means of identifying lessons for improvement alongside informing the CHSCP about the effectiveness of front-line practice.  The MACA process focuses on the child’s lived experience, the quality and impact of practice and involves ‘appreciative elements’, to highlight what worked well in cases as well as areas for action.  Lessons and recommendations for practice improvement are published on this page and circulated via our ‘Things You Should Know” briefings.
